Default Just an idea - Solo Rotscale

Like I said, just an idea, but I cant figure out any problems in theory

Build: Mo/Me
Divine Favor 10+3+1
Protection Prayers 11+3
Domination 10

Use standard SoA build

Protective Spirit
Shield of Abs
Balths Aura
Blessed Aura

now, additional skills and why
Spell Breaker - Mainly to prevent Desecrate Enchants
Arcane Echo - Echo SB to keep up continuously
note: not sure how 20% and 30% enchant extend effect Arcane echo, there may be a 1-2 second drop in SB coverage

ok, here is the kicker
spiritual pain - just pound rotscale with this. but kill rotscale BEFORE the dragons surrounding him. The surrounding dragons will cast frozen spirit. When spiritual pain hits a spirit, it will immediately recharge.

This leaves one optional slot
wastrel's worry/powerspike/overload - rotscale damage
smite hex/inspired hex - not sure if these are needed
mantra of * - might provide extra energy gain, not sure if really useful
Heal breeze/mend/Watchful Spirit - little extra healing
any energy management skill

One thing i might recommend is going directly at rotscale and ignoring the other guys. This will ensure you're getting pummeled and your energy will stay up for spamming spiritual pain.

only problem could be the other dragons use choking gas, however, MoR should be able to solve that

The reason this doesn't work is because as soon as you arggo the group 5 lvl 18 smoke phantoms pop up behind you.

SB does nothing to stop chocking gas so everything you do will be interrupted.

I dont see what the smoke phantoms could do to you. Looking at their skills (assuming guildwiki is accurate), just fall back and eliminate them, then continue.

As far as choking gas, guildwiki doesn't show the rotting dragons using it, so i'm assuming guildwiki is wrong, but just use Mantra of Resolve.

I think the Rotting Dragons use Incendiary Arrows for interrupts. MoR would be required anyway as Deafening Roar is a skill and should be unaffected by SB and would result in lots of interrupts.

You realize how fast your energy pool would be raped under Choking Gas fire with Mantra of Resolve up?

has anyone actually tested this build yet? I think with a bit of tweaking it *might* work.

Yea... how do you run there? Mark of Subversion = owned...

You'd need a running skill to break aggro from the groups at the beginning of Majesty's Rest... and the Grasps cripple.

WHY would you use Spellbreaker for Desecrate Enchantments? 100+100+100+100+100....... you still take 0 damage with PS and SoA. And FoC isn't a problem since you don't need 55 health for SoA to work.

Degen is probably the biggest problem. You get auto poison when you get near him, and burning makes this 11 degen. 20 damage/second will kill you in 5 seconds.

Incendiary Arrows and Choking Gas won't make energy very pretty... especially since your constantly spamming Spiritual Pain... 1 sec cast, very easy to interrupt, costs 10 energy...

I think this might work with a BiP necro to give you energy. Also he can go N/D or N/R to do the running part.

Dervish can farm so much of Tyria easily. Slow, but definately easy. Vow of silence, conviction, essence bond, some sort of condition removal, and the rest whatever.
